TV Mounts
When we bought our trailer it came with a collapsible TV shelf in the bedroom:
There's also a TV shelf in the living area where we installed an articulated arm:
For while, we had two TVs in the trailer - one on each shelf. At the start of the 2010 season we realized a couple of things. One, a single TV in the bedroom was plenty. And two, we could use more counter space in the kitchen. I tackled the second problem first, moving the collapsible shelf to the kitchen:
Because the side of the lower kitchen cabinet is just a thin veneer, I used nuts and bolts to attach the shelf through a backing plate of 1/2" plywood:
The articulated arm we already had (Lee Valley Part no. 00K79.21) would be useful, but it bolts to the TV semi-permanently and we wanted to be able to lift it off the mount to stow it for travel. My solution was to mate the arm with another TV mount (Lee Valley Part no. 00K79.10):
Now the TV is on the mount when we're stopped and face down on the bed when we're moving. And in the kitchen, the collapsible shelf has proven to be very useful.
